Quiet

With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony, and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things.

Lost

Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you
Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here,
And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,
Must ask permission to know it and be known.
The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,
I have made this place around you.
If you leave it, you may come back again, saying Here.
No two trees are the same to Raven.
No two branches are the same to Wren.
If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you,
You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows
Where you are. You must let it find you.

Footsteps

May the great oak fold you in its mantle of wisdom
May the sun shine bright upon your day
May you walk by flowing streams of peace and love
As you journey on your pilgrim way.

May the soft breeze keep you ever gentle

And the warm rain freshen paths gone dry
May the earth spring up beneath your footsteps
May the Spirit guide you, ever high.

Gaze

Beloved, gaze in thine own heart,

the holy tree is growing there,

from joy the holy branches start,

and all the trembling flowers they bear.

W. B. Yeats
